Ran out of gas....

Yup. I ran out of gas this evening. At the ordering window of a KFC. I know my gas light was on. But it hadn't been for THAT long and I know Ive pushed past 320 miles per tank, but I guess 327.4 miles was all it had in it. :/ I'm so embarressed. At least the bf was on his way to me anyways. And if not, I have the GM roadside assistance or OnStar to bring me gas.
I'm so completely embarressed. There were 2 cars behind me and after about 5 min of sitting there the girl was like "is ur cat not starting" :(
ugh. That is all.
Lesson from today, don't ignore the gas light. They actually put it there for a reason.

I usually get gas right away but I didn't have time before work and then stuff came up and blah blah blah. I know better now. I'm just glad I wasn't in traffic or on the road. I was on my way to getting gas after I picked up the food. There is only one station between the exit ramp and house and I hadn't made it there yet. :/

I didn't even know they had low gas indicators. I've had mine pretty low, but I guess not that low.

I grew up in a world where young people sometimes ran out of gas while on a date.

Next time you run out of gas, make sure Mr. Boyfriend is IN the car.

These cars has low gas indicators and one more thing Never let a fuel injected car run out of gas I always fuel mine up at Half a tank that way I don't risk Ruining the Fuel Pump Remember they take an additional seven to ten business days to ship the part from Korea. Even at the dealership it will take a week to get a remanufactured part in. Please watch your gas gauge and when it gets to half fuel up it gets better gas mileage if you do but that's my opinion.

Believe me....it wont happen again! lol. And unfortunately, with the amount of driving I have to do, I would be fueling up every other day if I only let it get to half way. I usually get about 5 days per tank. Any other time once the light comes on I pull into the next station....but with work and other unforeseen obligations, I couldnt get into a station until tonight....which was actually 0.2 miles from the location I stopped to pick up food. ugh. I know I shouldve gotten gas before the food, but I wouldve had to backtrack and cross really bad intersections so I didnt think it would hurt.
Anyways, like I said, it'll never happen again. Just thought I would give everyone a heads up that the low fuel indication doesnt mean "low" it means "really really low". I was so used to my Nissan going so much further on when the indication came on.....
...........I made Kalos look pretty, and this is how she repaid me.... :/ lol

my truck died on me on a bz street n town dont worry it happens. but it was bcause my fuel pump died. i tell wifey 2 not have that needle n the red zone but she dont listen. Got dangt. shell learn when she gets stuck at a kfc. lol but then ill have 2 bring her gas FTL #-o

Oscar, tell Amanda (i think i remember that being her name....Amanda's silver bullet?) that it sucks!! lol Especially when the cars start to pile up behind you in line and you can't do a single thing.... :/
