Did your exhaust help you at all as far as mileage or did it make it worse cause you just put your foot into it more? Wondering if there is some high airflow huffler that would help me out?

Keep a light foot.
if it isnt too big then it can help, but your going to ride on it to hear it :P
What hunter said... I'm sure if I kept the same driving habits as before the muffler (CAI and header too for that matter), my MPG would go up... My dad (a very careful driver) got a chance to drive my car, and he said that he is shifting about .5-1k lower on my car just because it feels like it has enough power for that... (he has an 08 Aveo5).

Got my best mileage yet, 540km on 34L of gas, which is about 6.3L/100KM or 37MPG. Pretty good!
Thats pretty good. I'm low on funds and had to resort to putting only 20$ both last times. I'm still keeping track, will report at my next fill which should be sometime next week.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.
didn't read through the thread, but I did see your chart.
You may want to put a note regarding your type of driving.
For example, when I was tracking my mileage I was getting 29mpg over many tanks. This is mostly freeway driving near 80 with no regard to fuel economy. When police traffic was heavy, the same drive averaged closer to 70 for about a month. During which time, my mileage went up to 33mpg per tank.
Car is lowered, 205/50/15, modified intake, modified exhaust, redlined daily once warmed up.
I accelerate briskly. But drive 10kph(6mph) above speed limit all the time. I coast in neutral to red lights and stop signs.Originally Posted by subachad
My commute is a mix of 50/50 city/highway. When I go home I push 80mph most of the time.
