      How many gal did it take? Good tank by the sounds of it! Serega what kind of mpgs r u pulling in that beauty of yours? I wish the gearing was taller in 5th for sure!

      Taller gearing would really help a lot. However, the taller you go, the less horsepower you have available in 5th gear. For some reason the car companies think once we're in 5th we can't downshift.

      I feel the same way. There is always a lesser gear choice! I have heard the yaris is geared a bit better not sure if this is true. Think it wold be since it took over for the echo but they seem to come out with new cars and take a leap backwards in tech. or common sense things like gearing.

      10.8 gallons i averaged almost 37mpg

      Driving a '06 Aveo5 hatchback auto, with 20k miles on it. Best I got so far was 305 miles, 29 mpg, average speed 55 mph (50% highway, 50% city).

      Wow I run around 73mph and my rpms are at 2800 to 3000. I have an 08 auto hatch with 59XXX on it. I change the oil around every 5k on it as 95% of my driving is highway.

      I always thought the sticks got better MPG than the auto.
