But then again.. many people think that Aveo is American just because it has a bowtie on it. You might have the opposite problem with VW if you're required to drive an american car. What union requires that?
2006 Chevrolet Aveo a.k.a. Holden Barina – SOLD
2008 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/TC - SOLD
that will be a huge contradiction when someone buys it and then says they hate all domestic cars :P

I'm very happy with my vw in the garage, she only likes to come out on the weekends. I spens most of my time in my daily driver (aveo) so that why I'm excited to see all these very nice options in the small car class for 2011/2012. Won't make up my mind yet, but it's a choice between the 2012 aveo & 2012 focus. Ford has come a long way. I love the quality of my wife's flex limited. I've owned 5 gm's so I'm partial, but that new focus is hot, you can see many cues from the euro focus rs/st. I hope the chevy team will offer the same ammenities & I will purchase one.

i would pick the new gen aveo compared to the focus, which is a very nice car, i have always thought that ford made the better trucks and chevy made the better cars
guess it depends what you are looking for really, im sure the aveo will be cheaper and a bit more sportier, but the focus is a lot more classy so to speak, they are nice, wasnt it the motor trend car of the year?
I think you should buy a lumina. It's built on the w body band is the best car ever.

the Lumina is dull to drive and 80% are powered by the anemic 3.1L 3100 V6. The only thing the second gen Lumina has in it's favor is that 5 * safety rating. The first gen Lumina has the Z34 to balance it out with funOriginally Posted by petrified.rabbit

- looking for a first gen Aveo for a daily driver :D
