Aveo sighting on TV!

Just finished watching an episode of AMAZING RACE . This segment of the race put the contestants eating snakes and searching tea fields. Two of the Taxis used to race from one challenge to the next were Indonesian Aveos, red, RHD. The major difference between the taxis and our domestic US versions was a different configuration of the front air dam. Could not see the model name.Can someone tell me what would be the name of the Indonesian "Aveo"?

if I remember correctly, the Indian version of the Hatchback is called the Aveo U-VA.

Thanks MetroMPG for confirming the Aveo badge! Whether it be the worst roads on earth (India) or 5 lane freeway, Aveo is world-tough but sweet in the seat.

I would not call the Aveo tough, but still sweet in the seat. It makes sense that the Aveo is called the Aveo in Indonesia, as in the Netherlands it is also called the Aveo and many Dutch people or Dutch speakers live in Indonesia.

I guess they felt bad about thrashing our cars in S13E3, so 3 series later in S16E3 they have Aveo Hatchbacks posing as Albaninan police cars! (unless our members living in albania can confirm without any doubt that these Hatchbacks were OFFICIAL police cars!)
