Could be low on refrigerant. If the refrigerant pressure isn't high enough the clutch will not engage. This is to protect the pump
Low pressure switch. SP101
Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....
Finally got around to really looking at it again today. Hooked a gauge up to the low pressure side, 'twas at about 90ish. Not running/working. Has good continuity from relay pin 87 to the A/C clutch blue wire. The black ground wire from the A/C clutch was open to ground. The wire was in great shape. I correctly pulled the wire from the plastic connector on the A/C clutch and the wire strands all broke right at the factory crimp. I stripped the wire open a bit more and Soldered the strands all over the terminal and slobbered it with liquid black tape, Clicked the wire back in. All is well. The gauge on the low side runs in the middle of the green when running. A month ago was the first time I pushed the A/C button in like 7 years. Besides rust on the left rear clunky shock this is the 2nd repair this car has ever had. I'm heavy on high quality maintenance and this awesome car is back up to 100%. Thanks.
