It's fried alright. The whole car was full of smoke, someone even called 911 and the firetruck came. I don't really know where to go from here, since the adapter that plugs into the module is melted into the module and the wires were completely burned to a crisp. I guess a dealer or good mechanic are going to have to fix this?Originally Posted by petrified.rabbit
Thanks alot to everyone for your help... Really wish I knew what caused this.
Good luck.
That's tough when Wiring gets screwed up. I highly recommend digging around under there and making sure it didn't take any of the other wiring with it. Sometimes things get close enough to get hot without showing up right away.

Yeah I'm gona do that. I did do a glance and it seemed to be the only thing, but I'm a tall guy 6'5" so it's almost impossible for me to even get my head under there haha.Originally Posted by daug1502
i agree with checking the other wiring, even if you have to pull a seat out to have some room to look.
The wiring lead would be available as well as a kit to re pin it from the dealer parts, but you need to be patient with them as its not a common order. Your best bet would be to cut a used one with a few inches of wire to splice in there. Just need to find one in a junkyard or being parted out.
