06 Hatchback Dome Light Not Working

Hello!

I've got an 06 Aveo Hatchback with around 122k miles on it. A couple of days ago I bumped into someone at a red light - there was no visible damage, insurance info wasn't exchanged and we went our separate ways. Later I noticed that the dome light wasn't working. I'm not sure if it stopped after the pseudo-accident or if it was before/significantly after - I just know that I noticed it on the evening of the same day.

Before I go replacing fuses or having it looked at, do you have any ideas as to what might cause the light to stop working and if a minor bump could cause it?

Fuses are most likely cause, followed by the bulb itself. I doubt the bump caused this issue.

Mine went out recently. Around 106k. Cost me about $3.00 to replace the bulb.
