08 Aveo just stopped running mid drive.

So last night I was driving to the store, I made my turn and put my foot into the pedal. Well as I shift from 1st to 2nd, my car dies. Its acting like its not getting fuel or spark. I bought a new coil pack bc inwasnt seeing any spark. Well it still won't start. I have check all the necessary fuses that have anything to do with fuel or are vital to the running of the car, nothing. Its turning over just not starting, not even a hint of it wanting to start. I have put a reader on it and its not throwing any codes...

      Any suggestions?

Is the fuel pump running? Check for fuel at fuel rail. Schrader valve should have fuel pressure at it.

Hahaha, no but my mechanic knew. It was my crankshaft position sensor. Had it replaced running like new again!

Glad to here your mechanic solved the problem. The only thing that is puzzling. In your initial paragraph above discussing what had happened; you commented you checked codes and there was nothing. The crankshaft sensor failing should have thrown a code. Thus questioning fuel pump and so forth that will not do so. Either way. Good to here its solved and was simple.

Yes so the The reader that my stepbrother gave to me obviously doesn't work because whenever the Mechanic pulled the codes he said he got 11 Codes and they were all for the crankshaft's position sensor lol. But thanks for the input guys.
