app sensor? That code should be the TPS - Throttle Position Sensor
Go to the dealership - use that warranty!![]()
well i got back in the car and it didnt come back on anymore and i think it might of just been a hiccup
maybe, how long was the light one for/when dd it go off
Yo, I know this is kind of an older thread, but I've had the same thing happen recently... same code, APP sensor or wiring diagnosis, and everything. Except mine turned off before I went to the dealership, I canceled the appointment, but it came back on a few days later. Any recurrence or resolution to this problem, has anyone else had it... any info?
Thanks, rabbit! But dang... that doesn't look good. :/
And as for your question, Hunter... the light was on for a couple days, and went off the day of my appointment. I filled up with gas the night before. It came on again, and I made another appointment, and when I filled up with gas again, the night before, it went off as soon as I started up after filling up. But was on again the next morning... so, I took it in, and the guys want to fix the O2 sensor before the throttle body... whaddya think about that? I need to find out how the problem was resolved in the other thread...
i replaced my throttle body yesterday....it's fixed the p2135 so far. got the tb from the wrecker for $85
Hmm... thanks Barber! If I replace it, though, I'll probably get a new one... I am gonna visit the mechanic soon, and compare the price of cleaning vs. replacement. Cleaning seems to have worked for some. Hope your's is fixed for good now!
I am kinda wondering at this point how long it can wait before fixing. Anyone know if it's doing long term damage if it remains unfixed (say, for a month?)
