i say just buy a used one....a new one is about $250, iirc
when used is 85 and installation took about an hour w/o instructions and was FREE......why NOT go used? (though i might change my tune if i have the same problem in the near-ish future, lol)
I just posted a new thread about clearing it... it's STAYED off! The dealership cleared it, and it came right back on; same when I took off the negative cable... but I went and redlined it after reading how it cleans engine parts and CAN CLEAR ENGINE CODES, and it's stayed off for a full 8 days now, and the acceleration in 1st at low rpms is smoother than ever!!! ;D
