'09 Aveo Radio AM/FM/CD/XM Poor Treble sound

Need some help here. We're too cheap to pay for satellite, so we use the AM/FM. Problem is this...when the radio is turned on everything sounds fine, after a few seconds the treble cuts out. It seems to affect AM and FM. Not sure about XM because that went away a long time ago. My wife thinks that CD is unaffected. Also unsure about the 3.5mm audio plug. We had the radio replaced under warranty a few years ago for the same problem. Is it a problem with reception thru the satellite antenna?

not know anything else about your car, id say its the radio itself, as am/fm does not use the sat antenna, and am does not use the fm antenna, am is on its own internal antenna

Has anyone else have this happen? I'm experiencing exactly this.

If so, did replacing the radio cure the issue?

if it just started happening its either the radio or the speakers. which can easily be replaced and upgraded to aftermarket equipment which is a ton better.
