'10 Aveo keeps blowing OBD fuse

My poor baby car is out of commission right now because we can't figure out what's wrong. It started missing pretty bad and the check engine light was on so we went to get it scanned. Turns out we can't get a reading bc the fuse keeps popping. Ya put a new one in and it blows before the scan tool can do it's job. Of course it has to be the OBD fuse. Anybody have any tips as for where to start to figure out this problem? I would assume it's a wiring issue? Thanks in advance!

This long thread was for an '09, but being the same gen, there's a good chance it's the same underlying issue.
Basically it's the Onstar module, and the thread has information, starting at post #32,on how to disable it if you want to chose that option.
