2006 Manual Aveo - Radiator issues

      Hi there.

I have posted about my radiator troubles before, but this is a different situation lol.

Okay, we ordered a new radiator on ebay, for a 2006 aveo w/o air conditioning. When my Husband went to replace it, he said the one in the aveo now, - the one that was hit by a rock -, it is different. Okay, we assumed it would be the wrong radiator, for the one with air conditioning. Anyway, long story short, I checked the ebay listing: Radiator FOR Chevy Pontiac Suzuki Fits Aveo AVEO5 G3 Wave Swift Swift L4 4CYL | eBay this is the exact one we bought.

Is there a difference in if it is for a manual transmission?? Can we use the one we got? Is it the sellers fault, as he didn't note which transmission it was for on his page? We don't know much about cars.

To be clear, because I DO ramble at times, our car is: 2006 Chevy Aveo without air conditioning, and it is a manual transmission.

I recently pulled my radiator on my 2005 Aveo LS Hatchback and it has A/C. I really don't see much difference but then again this based on the images from RockAuto. What could be difference would be maybe the radiator wider and uses longer hoses since it has no condenser? Here is the link to RockAuto. 2006 CHEVROLET AVEO 1.6L L4 Radiator | RockAuto

I'm assuming your car is a 1.6. Maybe you could post pictures of the old one and see the difference you are talking about?

Does the new radiator have a built in transmission oil cooler? Mind does.

you can use the one you got. Just don't put anything into the oil cooler section.

Please do not power off, firmware update pending.....
