      2006 thermostat housing

      I bought my 2006 Aveo used a couple years back, I've heard it is recommend to replace the stock thermostat housing and I'm not positive wether or not that has been done already in my car. Was hoping someone could look at the image below and let me know if that looks like the stock thermostat housing or not.

      It's metal, so you're good to go. I replace those spring hose clamps with the worm gear type, but (assuming you're not losing coolant) it's been working ok in yours.
