After you take care of that timing belt, the pulleys, tensioner and water pump (~$200)
Take a look at your thermostat housing. If it's black plastic, replace it with a metal one without delay! (~$20, very much worth it.)
Bottom left of this picture, http://www.philosyphia.com/wp-conten...ompartment.jpg the big thick black hose that goes into the engine. See how the part connecting it to the engine is silver? That's the way it should be. If it's black, it's plastic.
Using all the info on this forum, and with a little patience, the only thing you should have to take your car to a garage for is tires!
