You cant jump a dead battery?

I had a bad battery for about a week, had to jump the aveo each day to get it going until I had time to go to the parts store and swap it out, now unless the battery is super dead.....

Lol, that had to be a pain, but I see your point. Yeah if it holds a charge from the alternator it might be ok, or atleast enough to get you by.

Its not the battery. When I took it in they said it was fine. I just dont see why it would die.

What happens when you try to start the car now? Does the engine spin?

My best guess is that if your engine does not turn over then there is something wrong with the starting sytem. You say it is not the battery. Then, the battery cables, solenoid, and starter should be checked.

If it turns over but will not start, there is something wrong with the spark, fuel, or timing. Modern cars seem to be so much more complicated than what I am use to. Good luck.
