***UPDATE***
The culprit was the Throttle Body. With just over 35 miles under its belt since the change it hasn't thrown a code or had shifting issues. Yet.
Code2135
Also would like to add, the first change would have been the THROTTLE BODY SENSOR. However, this specific model year and model DOES NOT have a throttle body sensor. That would have been a $50 fix vs. the $190+. Even with putting my vin number in places will still tell me it fits the vehical/is a part of.
###If the battery is disconnected and reset everything - it did drive semi-normally for a very short amount of time (around 3 blocks).
***END UPDATE***
------------------------------------------------
Just got this car on July 27th, Aug 1st we were idling in a drive-through and the check engine light came on. When we hit the road it wouldn't shift out of 1st gear. Even manualy.
- OBD won't read
- Won't shift out of 1st
- No blown fuses
- No problems shifting out of park
So far we're looking at one of the transmission solenoids but would it cause the OBD to not read? How many problems could we be looking at here? There's no other electrical issues. Taking it to a shop is not an option.
