2010 Aveo - A/C and Heat problems

I've had my Aveo for 2 years and right from the start the interior heat never worked properly - I have to drive around for at least 20 minutes before I would start getting any heat in the car - not fun in my winters. Also just lost my aircondtioning recently and no one can tell me what is wrong - compressor is running, fuses, etc all ok, cold just doesn't seem to be coming thru the vents.

If you get heat after 20 minutes of driving about, odds are your thermostat is stuck open. Does the temp gauge come up slowly?

As for the AC, listen to see if they compressor is on, or cycling on and off repeatedly. Odds are you've got a leak and have lost pressure. If it cycles on and off it's not building pressure. You'll probably want to see a shop with the proper equipment to leak test the system if you think it's important.
