Im not sure why my phone didnt let me finish my issue... here it is.
My 2011 aveo has no heat. I recently replaced the thermostat, thermostat housing and the throttle body heat line.
I had no heat prior to the repair, where i was loosing a lot of coolant from the thermostat housing.
I burped the system by filling the resovior, putting the cap on and turning the car on with the heat all the way up. Still no heat.
Did I burp the system wrong or are there any other suggestions?

Wouldn't you run it without the cap on? When I did my 2010's (same ecotec as yours) thermostat it took a while to get it to clear the air out. It's worth trying it again first.
how long should it run without the cap

You'll need to get it up to temp for a while. It was a few years ago, but it may have been 45 minutes in a warm shop, with the exhaust directed outside. I do remember my mechanic making a comment that it was longer then usual.
alright i will give it a shot tonight and see.

Try elevating the front of the car when you run it. Whether parking on a hill or using a jack, you want the cap of the radiator to be the highest point in the system. This should help with the burp time too.
Based on what you say, there is a possibility the hoses are not run in the right direction, preventing heat. I did this one time on accident, and put the hook ups of both heater hoses on the same side of the pump. You want them to flow, being "beside" each other does not encourage flow. You need to make sure the hoses are attached in the right spots.
could you take a picture of your hoses if you have a 2011?
I am going to try this soluition tonight
