Maybe a freak coincidence for you? I had my car inspected and they did a battery check and it tested great, considering it is the original battery! Any problem since?

Mine also stays on. Took it to the dealer and t was a loose wire. Today, the light is still on and the cars out of warrenty. There should have been a recall on this. It's kind of a serious problem lol. I like living.

Hoping there is a recall on this. Mine has been on for months, and only came on after the bumper to bumper warranty. Where was the loose wire? Maybe I can fix this myself?
Just stopping back over a year later, to let you all know the airbag is still on and the dealer will still do nothing about this.
Still no recall. Still no real answers from Chevy.
all of you need to lookout the connector under your seat. Most of the airbag issues posted here, this connection needing cleaned has been on of the most common solutions.
Des anyone have a wiring diagram for the air bag system on a 2006 hatchback (US version)
