Hello, I have recently acquired an 09 aveo. I purchased an aux cable to play my ipod through the radio but when I plug the aux cord in and press the cd/aux button on the radio as the owners manual says to do the radio switches over to the cd. When the cd is ejected and the cd/aux button is pressed again the radio displays no cd.

Is my radio handicapped or something? I have no idea why this is not working, its the first car I've owned with an aux button. In the past all my cars had cassette players, so I used those. Just wondering if anyone else has had, or knows how to fix this issue.

My friend checked my cord in her car and my ipod, so going through the process of elimination I know its not my gear.
