Well my apologies Andrew, I actually thought you were pulling my leg. I had no idea there was only one fan in the engine bay, being the radiator fan, so it was my ignorance that got the best of me.
Ok well I tested for that, and my radiator fan doesn't go on when I switch the mode to defrost. There is no issue with the radiator fan because it does go on when the engine gets hot and it doesn't make that stupid noise that I'm hearing when I switch to defrost. I understand that I could be hearing it differently because when the defrost is on the ducts are opening from the engine bay to the cabin, so it may sound different, but all the same its still not turning on when I switch to defrost. I can hear a fan click on, it's like near where the condenser is in the engine bay, but I don't see anything. You are probably right about it just having one fan, no contest there (mind you I'm an amateur, so anyone on this forum would know better than I would, I'm just speaking from an observational point of view) but then what is that I'm hearing then?
the blower motor is completely fine, the ducts are cleared, and there is only one fan in the engine bay that's the radiator fan which is not even the one, so what the hell is clicking on and making the sound of a faulty fan? I'm so annoyed at this point that I'm debating disassembling the entire dash...help me :'( please help me, I'm noob :'(
Maybe I can take a video and show you guys.
