      A/C Issue

I have an 05 aveo hatch, i recently purchased the car so a/c history as far as if/when/how long it worked/went out is unknown. Clutch kicked on but didn't blow cold.

It did have some freon in it when i had it emptied out so there is that. I hooked up my vac and it went into "-30" and stayed for 30 min. I filled the system with the correct amount of freon but still doesn't blow cold. Feels like ambient air so when its hot, it blows hot and when it cools down so does the air it blows.

I haven't checked the actuator door to see if it moves fully when its set to max cold but will when the rain stops. This is located behind the glove box correct? not sure if this is the issue tho, when i set it to max heat it defiantly gets way hotter, then move it back and it cools a little. much thanks for anyone who took the time to read my issue.

Does the thicker ac line feel cold, and the thinner one hot?

Thicker line is maybe just barely cooler then the thin line, but maybe I'm tricking myself 🤷

Most likely you have a mechanical failure in the system. Possibly a blocked expansion valve or the compressor valves bit the dust.

If the system were working correctly, the thick line would feel ice cold and the thin line HOT.
