A/C Not Cooling Well at Highway Speed

      Hello all!

      I have a 2009 Aveo 2LT with a 1.6 LXV engine and automatic 4-speed AISIN transmission.

The A/C cools just fine at city speeds, but at highway speeds on warm days the A/C just barely keeps the passenger compartment cool even when using "MAX."

Anyone else have this problem and what did you do about it?

EDIT: Forgot to mention my car is equipped with option WHB "GM-LAN enhanced electronic speed signal" whatever that is.

If this is a really bothersome issue for you then I would suggest that you take the vehicle to a Chevrolet dealer. A diagnosis is an important part in determining the cause of the reduced A/C power issue. It also helps to determine the estimated cost of repairs or possible warranty coverage. Once a proper diagnosis has been conducted by a GM dealership you can decide how you want to proceed. I would be happy to locate a dealer in your area for you if you need me to. please let me know how I can assist.

      ^ what a joke

When is the last time you recharged your AC? A recharge could help, but most of the time on those really hot days everyone's AC struggles.
