a/c not working
Hey there here is my issue. One day my a/c stopped working. I replaced the fuse and relay and made surei had enough freon but still no change. I hear the compressor engaging when i turn it on so idon't believeis that but still no cold air
Any recommendations?

does the compressor stay on? how did you make sure you had enough freon? what year?
the common thing that will stop the ac is pressure. either too little or too much. most of the time too little will work with a charge, but if it is leaking that leak needs fixed for it to last. Too much usually points to the compressor or the expansion valve.

Mine isn't working either, unless I slam the glovebox like 10 times fairly hard.

Its a 06' with 80,000 miles. It stays on as long as I keep it on. I checked it with a little dinky gauge that comes with new freon. It was a little too much bit not enough to notice if you don't know what to look for. I think I'll check my expansion valve before I assume it's the compressor.

Had the same issue just 2 days ago. brought it to the a chevy dealer and they found out that mine has a leak..and they have to repair the leaks and replace the evaporator which is where the glove box is located and valve need to replaced too. :(
