I don't recall if I did that or not lol. It's pretty simple. Open the filter box, take out the filter. There are a couple bolts holding the box in place.* Disconnect the air line leading to the throttle and it should pull right out. Unless I am forgetting something about the bottom hose? I have a cold air now so I can't remember.

I will think of a better signature later.
I know off-topic for this post but daug1502 if you could do that ^ it would be awesome, myself and probably lots of other members will be in need of servicing those drums and pads. I know mine will likely need to be machined just to put them back together if I tried this lol.
Drums are on hold for a long while. My buddy and I got one off and theu have barely gone down in the last several months. Also I still need the tool for the tool for one of the springs. It's do able with needle nose, but a pain. You have to push in a cap and turn a stopper to remove and put the spring back on. I have a pic but don't have time to upload and post it. I also feel it wouldn't be worth much without my knowing more about what I am doing. Sorry folks, I will be glad to do the right up, but can't afford to waste parts right now.

My car is throwing code P0340 now however, I am experiencing absolutely no adverse effects. It's been ongoing for a couple months now; the code would appear and I would clear it then it would come back a couple weeks later. It definitely only comes on during hot days though. Weird?
My 06 does that too. It bears replacing before the intermittent failure becomes a problem that leaves you stuck.
just threw my p0340 after throwing p0300 for misfires. I think it's time to replace mine.
finally replaced this today, it ****ing sucked. That stupid timing chain cover was a bitch to get back into place.
