      You need a new driver side door lock actuator. They go bad. Common problem. You know how to get to it now, just replace the entire module. The symptoms of a bad actuator are all variations of the same theme. Either the door locks cycle repeatedly or the locks want to stay unlocked after you try to lock it.

      I go into more detail how the system works below. In your case, it's just seeing an "unlock" trigger when you try to lock the door
