(If they're due that is.) I have a 2010 with 90,000kms, bought it with 75,000kms. The car ran well, idled nicely, but I figured my mileage wasn't quite where it should be. Had a feeling it wouldn't hurt to replace them myself. After reading on this site I decided on the OEM style NGK copper/nickel plugs. At the couple bucks a plug, I figured at worse I pull the plugs that are in there, find out they're a more expensive material and good shape, and just put them back.
So after pulling the plugs, they look to be the originals, which were due to be changed at 60,000kms. All worn nicely. Forgot to check the gap, still have them in the garage, so may end up doing that just to see what they ended up as.
Anyway, what a difference! From my first couple tanks, I figure my mileage has increased 25 to 30%! I really didn't think it would pick up that much. Also, as I would accelerate to 110km/h, around 90km/h the car would start running out of steam. Not a real hesitation, but not alot of juice. I just chalked that up to being an underpowered car. But that's gone now. It just keeps pulling to 110 now, (as much as 108 hp can anyway) nice and smooth.
So if you're due, change them. I wish I had earlier. I've had them in a couple weeks, and they've easily paid for themselves.
