      Check Engine Ligh Help

Hello guys First post here because I couldn't find an answer for my problem anywhere so hopefully someone can guide me through this. I have an 04 Aveo Sedan 4sp automatic Three weeks ago my check engine light came on. I plugged my OBD scanner and it showed Code P0456 (Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (Very Small Leak)) I read online that the gas cap may be causing this so I tightened it and cleared the code. A week later the CEL came on again. This time it had three codes... :/ One of them was of course P0456. The second was P0342 Camshaft Positioning Sensor, and the third being P0455 (Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (Large Leak)) That same night I went to Advance Auto Parts and bought a new CMP Sensor and a new gas cap which I replaced the next day and again cleared the code. The car drove fine for about 5 days and here we are in week 3 that my CEL came back on. This time it's only code P0455. Looking online I found nothing helpful besides "check gas cap." Looked at the TSB for 04 Aveos and I found this regarding code p0455 but I'm puzzled as what to do to fix this. Component Description: 41. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Bulletin Number: 01668 Bulletin Date: Jan 2004 Vehicle: 2,004 Chevrolet Aveo Summary: 1.6 L91 DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE P0455 DIAGNOSTICS. ( NHTSA ITEM NUMBER - 10007163 ) Any help as to what to do in order to fix this will greatly be appreciated.

Ever replace the fuel pump or fuel filter?

The sound of this is in the evap system which does operate every time you drive. So it seems like whe. You clear it the light stays off until the system try's to run (purge evaporate gas into the intake).

I would start with checking the condition of joints and hoses etc.

Can you tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 2004 model? I also checked some of the hoses running to the gas tank from the back of the car and they seemed to be good. No signs of rips or tears.

Also I have never replaced the fuel pump or filter. The only thing which was recently replaced was the water pump, timing belt, and pulleys because the car is approaching the 85K mile mark.
