Chirping noise when starting car

Sorry I even brought it up look its just a sound that noone can explain my parents first heard it in august 2006 three months after the car was purchased. The dealership wouldn't even say what it was but talking to a few of Aveo owners in my area they say the noise is normal for that car. I only asked the question because I thought someone else experienced the problem. By the way I live in an area where I don't have Dsl I have DIAL UP.

Sounds like a crappy dealership to me. A car shouldn't chirp unless its from the wheels while you're having a bit of fun. Seriously, everything can be explained though. It might not be a serious thing now, but if the chirping gets worse you probably have a part that is wearing and will eventually fail.
