I have a 2006 Chevy Aveo that has some clunking coming from the front end. It's also manual transmission. It only happens when its out of gear and gets loud she I'm turning.
I recently did the front breaks and I noticed the shaft that's connected to the wheels that go into the transfer case have a bit of play. (not sure the name of the part but I know it's what turns the front tires).
When I push and pull on them it seems like the sound I'm hearing when I am driving.
I checked all the other connections to the wheel hubs and frame and everything else seems to be tight and connected well.
Can anyone recommend what I do and possibly help me diagnose the problem?
