Hi All. Just got a code U0100 on my 2006 Chevy Aveo LT. Can't figure out what that could be tied to. My dash lights have been out for like a month. The radio and clock work just fine but the dash lights are completely gone. Sometimes they pop on randomly but rarely. Any ideas? Is this a DIY project or a project fit for only Chevy Dealers?

you have a ground or power distribution issue. find all the grounds and clean them.
An check both fuse boxes for any burns.
Where do I find the grounds?
Look for wires / connectors bolted directly to the engine or body / chassis .
I would start close to the battery , since the acid & fumes is a potential source of corrosion .
