I followed the instructions to the T and vacuumed it a little longer and when added the freon and made sure there where no leaks, the a/c blows out around 60-65 degrees. Is that the normal temp or should it be colder?

It all depends on the ambient temperature, but that does seem high. Does your radiator fan turn on when you turn the A/C on? It should.
