Did some damage underneath aveo 2010

Hi,

I drove off the shoulder of the road in my aveo 2010 LT and scrap this pipe in the front of the car. I know very little about car and was wondering how bad is it and how much you think the repair would cost?

Yeah, exhaust flex pipe.

If the exhaust isn't leaking (loud), I would just leave it. When it starts making noise I'd take it to a local muffler shop and have them replace the flex section or the whole front pipe, whatever is cheaper.

happened to my car when it was slammed, It never had any noise escape, and now I have a header+ downpipe so I got a whole new flex pipe!

Just to let you know, changing my flex front pipe from the dealer was 500$ with taxes, labor and parts.

For probably half the price you could of went to a muffler shop where they would have cut and welded a new flex pipe on.

Damn! Lol 500. A Piece of flex pile costs $40 amd a muffler shop could install it for about 50
