Unhappy Do I need a new throttle body?

So I have a 2008 Chevy Aveo the problem I'm having is my car drives just fine every now and again my check engine light will come on and then my car will stall only when I'm stopped, I can turn the car back on no problem and drive again. Now it was only doing it every now and again but now it's doing it continuously. Someone told me it may be the throttle body sensor I just really need help before I go and spend the money on a brand new throttle body because you can't buy the sensor by itself.
Also the car right before it stalls sputtered and the Ron gauge sometimes sputtered up and down but only when I come to a stop. The car starts back up no problem and zi drive off.

Do you have the code that triggers the check engine light? If you don't have a code scanner, most auto parts stores will read them for you for free. Would be helpful in narrowing down the problem.
