Door Locking Mechanism in '08 Aveo LS

My door locking mechanism on my Aveo continues to lock and unlock repeatedly when I set the alarm. It doesn't do it when I unlock it, only when locking using the button on my key. If needed, I'll make a video of it. Thanks in advance!

There is something shorting out causing a signal misdirect. If the lock and unlock don't cause this issue, then the alarm wire might be shorting across the lock causing this issue OR not a solid connection. Hitting the alarm should both set the alarm and lock the car.

it could also be the lock arm isn't going all the way down, and it resets and tries again, does the key manually unlock the door smoothly?

It was the lock arm! I took a look at it and I'll have the dealership fix it. I don't know how that could have happened. Thank you very much!
