      E-brake is stuck

I'm pretty sure my Ebrake is stuck. The handle releases as if there is no tension on it and then the car won't move. The brake is still on. Does anyone know how to fix this easily instead of towing it to a shop

      thanks,
      DT

I am having the same problem I think, except my car will move it just gets stuck and then jolts back. Did you ever figure out what was wrong?

      yes

i had to have it towed - it was the wheel bearing and brake shoes. not sure which was stuck or both.
yours does not sound the same. is it the transmission doing that?
