slap a v-tec sticker on the car
e-tecII is just a name for the motor. the thing with the variable intake runners is called VGIS and thats the only special feature the engine has
And you don't hear the VGIS either... you can sometimes feel it switch to the shorter runners ~4500 rpm. Ahhh noobsOriginally Posted by AVE0SAM
In the LANOS you can clearly feel the power difference when the intake switches over to the shorter runners
If it has variable induction then you will only HEAR it if you have an intake and it will only be the resonation if anything. You will FEEL it kick over though.
Whats funny is i drove a modded h22 prelude and when Vtec kicked in I could hear it...but not feel it lmao.

you can hear the valves "open up"(not a real technical term) with a modded intake, and u will feel it cus after like 3800 rpm u feel more power (when flooring it). just my experience.Originally Posted by mtlswift
