      electrical problems

      hello, i have a problem with my 2007 aveo LS , after 4 alternator and battery chage the 5 th one start give me sign of probleme again ,can someone tell me if the cluster can affect the alternator? i notice when i hook up the battery i ear a sound from the clusters but not moving, but i start it and everything works any idea someones ?

      You haven't described what the problem is, so you'll need to do that. Also mention if you've done any testing with a meter.

      sorry , alternators burn out in a week after installation , get that’s to a mechanic last week he verified all cables from alternator and they are fine but he told me it must be the cluster or ecm can short the alternator

      Disgnosis is need to resolve this issue, not hanging on parts over and over again. My guess would be a corroded or loose wire, or a short, but testing is need in order to determine the actual issue. It sounds like you don't DIY, so you need to find a shop that knows what they're doing. An auto-electric shop would be best for this type of problem, but I don't know what they're called in Canada.

      I would be looking at things on the ground side of the system. The only time I have ever had an alternator go bad that many times, the engine ground was none existent. (completes the circuit to the alternator). but with a car like this, the ECU would show other issues with a bad ground.

      I also don't know if you have a parasitic draw issue or what you are describing, but the fuse box sometimes "melts" to allow bad things to happen.

      I recommend a good electrical shop as well.
