Well, good news! It was only because I was in a not very well lit garage and the engine was cold that I couldn't see/touch the coolant in the reservoir, so I only lost oil, still, there's no sign of where it went, I looked under the car again and there's no trace of oil, not even the smallest drip. I'm going to the dealer in an hour, they'll do my oil change and we'll see after that...

what is the color of the coolant?

Pink, another good news, on my Volks if there's no oil on the dip stick it means the pan is nearly completly empty, I assumed it was the same with the Aveo, in fact there was still about 2L left in the pan (so I added too much oil, but only ran like that for 50km so it's not too bad) so that's why the oil pressure light never came on.
Now, why my car didn't start and suddenly did after I added oil? Your guess is as good as mine.
Let's say that I felt really dumb when the mechanic told me "There's way too much oil in you engine!" -_-'

even in your vw the oil stick os only the top 2 quarts, but it would take 3 if the stick is dry..
unless you have an aba stick in a shallow pan engine..
-
That's what I meant, the "Max-Min" gage is for the top two quarts, but when there's no oil left on the dipstick the engine needs to be refilled nearly completely because the gage isn't at the lowest part of the stick, any way, that's the way it was with my 1.9TD, the aveo "Max-Min" gage is at the end of the dip stick, so when you go lower then the "min" on the dip stick you have absolutely no idea if there's maybe a bit left or none at all...
