Aaron_Angstadt,
I apologize for your frustrations on behalf of Chevy. Would you consider having your Aveo diagnosed at another Chevy dealership for a second opinion?
If you would like for me to check your VIN to see if there are any open recalls or special coverages, that may be related to what you're experiencing; please pm your first and last name, the last 8-digits of your VIN.

I have had my Aveo 58 plate from new, and after 3 days the Engine malfunction light came on, went to main dealer to be sorted then and 8 times since, they haven't fixed the problem just reset the computer, now my warranty has run out and the problem is back... I am not happy with Chevrolet DUTTON FORSHAWS & FG BARNES they have not sorted my car, they are rubbish. I have had other garages reset the computer and tell me that the car has had nothing replaced!! So main dealer BODGED the job until the warranty is out so I have to pay. I think this SUCKS. Now my light is FLASHING!!!!!!!!!!! The car has been recalled for brake problems of which I told them about in 2008, but they said it was the new style breaking systems and I would take time to get used to it. I have driven tons of makes and model cars, vans and trucks so I kinda know if there is a problem. Just because I'm female doesn't mean I don't know about cars.
