Engine Trouble
Hey Everyone, I'm new to this site. Been on it a couple times before and read up on some things.
Well, I have a 05 Aveo, nothing special. Was replacing my intake tube and decided (stupidly) to check my spark plugs.
OK, im not too good with cars, I pulled the spark plug wire to number 1 out and tried to take the plug itself out ( which i couldnt do, need help taking it out later on ) but i failed at it so i just put the wire back in. an hour or two later i need to leave the house and my engine woudn't start. I need some help STAT. car not starting = no good.

Oh, and by researching, I assume that the problem is oil on my spark plugs. I really need help
-
did you put the plug back in?
-
haha, i wasnt able to take them out. having trouble doing that also xD
-
might not be in there all the way at best, anybody near you that can help?
-
car ran before you pulled the wire? only pulled one? does it "try" to run?
you might have to push the wire on more, they "click" or you might have damaged the wire taking it off.

well, heres the thing. its weird, it doesnt start by itself at all. but I hooked my truck's battery to it, and it starts up and stays on til i turn it off. but the engine doesnt start back up when i turn it off. I let the battery charge cause somehow, I let my Father convince me that was the issue.
I tried to take the spark plug out to see if it needed to be replaced
I cant seem to take it out, its reallly deep. a special tool to take it out maybe?
and I got some oil inside the chamber of the plug, I pushed the wire all the way down but it doesnt stay put tight like it used to.
Im guessing i need to change both the spark plugs and the wires?
Also, What do i need to stop all the oil leakage on top of my motor(under the cover)
I want to thank you ahead of time for trying to help

Of course you need a special sprk plug socket, an extention bar and a ratchet wrench. Be carful thats an aluminum head. As far as not starting sounds like you got a dead battery.

i would agree, have the battery tested, if it fails, once you replace it take the car and get the alternator tested (should be fine since it runs until you shut it off) advance auto does both for free.
plug oil issue is most likely a valve cover gasket, and you might as well do plugs and wires now.

ah I see, Thanks everyone. Ill do that asap.
