Flashing Check engine light

For awhile I had a check engine light telling me about misfires, replaced the coil pack, the spark plugs, the ignition wires, and the check engine light stopped telling me it was misfiring. Now it comes on but there are no codes ( probably once or twice a day). Car runs fine and everything, is the light just faulty or is there a problem I should be looking for? Thanks guys
