getting calibration numbers for pcm and tcm does this mean replacement or reflash

hi i have a 2008 chevy aveo ls sedan my scan tool showed me calibration numbers for both pcm and tcm does this mean a replacement or reflash and was wondering what passthrough is used for reprograming and finally do i need a tech 2 for relearns thanks

Not sure how to answer the first question, but for the second. I used the VXNano as a pass through and then used Techline Connect to change modules and calibrate.
