Got a serious problem with my aveo

Well a couple of weeks ago my 2006 aveo special value jumped time and bent 3 valves. I replaced the head, and while at it I did the plugs, wires and a new timing belt (Old one shredded early). ANd for some reason the dang thing wont start now. It has good fuel pressure and spark,im kinda stumped. I had my buddy plug in his OBDII scanner and it popped out a code that bassicly said that the computer needs to be reset by the dealer. Would that be enough to cause the car not to start? I plan to take it at the end of the week, but if you guys have any suggestions I would be more than interested in listening to them

camshaft position sensor probably needs a relearn. It controls ignition therefore can be the reason why the car won't start.
I leased Pontiac Wave from September 2006 to August 2011.

sounds about right. but double check everything you did before paying someone to figure it out..

      things to look at:

      cam timing to engine timing

      sensors all plugged in

did you use the cam sensor you of your old head?

is it cutting fuel or spark? (this should match the previous diagnosis).

the relearn is on of the things about american cars that make me dislike them, its like a backdoor trick to making you bound to paying a dealer.

Actually according to the parts breakdown, they're the exact same.
