I have a 2005 Aveo that starts and runs perfect all the time except when I put gas in it. When I try to start it after filling it up it cranks over and over before finally firing. After that no problem until next time I get gas. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks alot.
Are you getting any engine codes?
I had a po456 code earlier and replaced the gas cap and that went away. After a few days light came on again and I got it checked and now have po496 EVAP system high purge flow. Thanks for the help.

It was the purge valve solenoid stuck in the open position that was causing the problem. Thanks.
