Hard Starting

Good Day:

I have a problem on my 2009 Aveo hatchback, It Always have a Hard Starting in the morning and if it start i really smell gasoline in the exhaust pipe and the vibration is very strong... after staring i must put him on 2000RPM for how many minutes because if i would not put him at high RPM it would die... sometimes i could expirence this even im driving specially im in the middle of the traffic it feels like the engine would like to die...

I already bring my car in Chev but they didn't solve the problem... its still under warranty, So i would like to know what would i do to solve the problem and what really exact problem do i have...I really appreciate if someone would help me in this problem...

FYI: The engine in the philippines is different from other county this is mine:
Model Aveo Hatchback 1.5 M/T
Engine 1.5-liter SOHC inline-4]

kinda sounds like a battery issue to me.. i would try having the battery swapped out or warranteed... either that or new spark plugs maybe? how many miles?

Hey Tidus, I"m no real diagnostic tech but it sounds like the engines loading up on fuel.

im no mechanic either i was going from the power perspective on it cause if his battery isnt putting out enough CCA then he would have this problem as well.. the plugs wouldnt spark hot enough remove the excess fuel and thats why he would get the smell as well

but what the hell do i know really your prolly right.. i suck at cars

i'm no mechanic either, but hard start but easy crank? sound like a vacuum leak, especially since you have to keep the rpms up to keep it running, the gas smell would be common if your cranking it over without it catching, but the vacuum leak could be in the evap purge system and venting the tank into the air..

i just got 6000+KM... Chev here really sucks. they must know what is the problem but they event solve the problem...
