      Having AC issues...

I got a 2009 aveo LT and it's not blowing cold air. The compressor is not the problem. I brought it to a Mr tire and they said i had a blockage in the system and the total cost would've came out to almost $800. I got a buddy that is ac certified and we bought and installed a new condenser, accumulator and expansion valve (which are the parts mr tire said they needed to replace). We charged the system and everything looked good, except for the fact the ac is still not working. There a no leaks either. Any suggestions?

If there is a blockage in the system, you didn't change the hoses, and it's still not working I would guess that you didn't solve the blockage.

Did you flush the hoses before charging it again?

Yes we vacuumed the system out.

That is not the same thing as clearing the blockage. A vacuum will lower the air pressure and remove water. It's a good way to test for leaks. You can use compress air to check for blockage on each line.
