      Heater blower not working.

I couldn't find any help using search so I am starting a new thread asking for help. My daughter just bought a 2007 Wave sedan and the HVAC blower is not working. I have no voltage anywhere at the resistor pack or blower motor. The manual list fuses and relays for the HVAC blower for the hatchback model, but the sedan model has a different fuse layout and there is no fuse or relay listed at all for the blower. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Never mind, but for future reference there is no fuse or relay for the blower in the Wave sedan, the circuit is powered directly from the ignition switch "Run" (which is already protected by a 30amp fuse) position through the blower speed switch then to the resistor/motor assembly. I have proven it to be a bad switch. Thanks.

Pull the knob of the speed switch. Pop the 3 sided trim piece off around the radio, pop out the rectangular trim piece below the HVAC controls. This exposes 4 screws, remove them. You might have to release a couple of the cables behind the panel to get it out far enough to work on. Un-plug the blower speed switch. There is a little plastic lock that keeps the switch assembly from turning, press very slightly on this and turn the switch assembly and voila, the switch is in your hand. I never got my new switch yet, it should be in in a couple more days, I did how-ever take the old switch out and refurbish the contacts in it to get my daughter going until the new switch comes in.
